Re-Purposeful Plants

Re-Purposeful Plants 🌱 This morning I made a #greenjuice to have with my #breakfast πŸ˜ƒ This ALSO meant I made green juice PULP 🀨.
.
Now I cannot throw something still so nutritiously viable into the bin 😱 It’s packed full of fibre, it still contains nutrients, it cost me money & the person who grew those ingredients time to nurture….basically it’s NOT RUBBISH πŸ™ŒπŸ».
.
But also I’m not actually going to sit & chow down a bowl of the stuff like some kind of hamster human πŸ˜‚.
.
#foodwaste is a ridiculously pressing issue for our world & it’s actually pretty simple to cut down on what you throw away πŸ€— A little culinary creativity, a little bold experimentation & hey presto your trash becomes a #tasty little snack plate like I have here 🀩.
.
Literally all I’ve done is take my juice pulp, add milled flax, pumpkin & sunflower seeds, some seasoning & water πŸ€·πŸ»β€β™€οΈ Bake until golden, apply humous, grill up some courgette ribbons & tumble some tinned #chickpeas on top for texture πŸ€ΈπŸ»β€β™€οΈ.
.
Simple, sustaining, #guthealth supporting & #delicious πŸ™ŒπŸ» What could be better ey ☺️.

HAPPY TUESDAY 😘 #plieblingnutrition .

{HAMSTER HUMAN CRACKERS} .

1/2 cup water.
Salt, pepper, dried herbs, spices, garlic powder etc.
.
Preheat your oven to 180C, line a tray with a silicone mat.
Mill your seeds in a blender until flour like. Add to the juice pulp with your other flavours & the water, mix until you have a dough.
Spread onto the tray, bake for 10 mins, slice into crackers, flip & bake for 2-3 mins more if a little soft.
Cool & use within 2 days or freeze for up to 3 months.
